Fall sailing in the north

Post by yukonbob »

Took an east coast buddy (one at the helm) bare bones sailing last fall in one of our lakes. Just finally decided to edit it. I did see the front fender once it starter flailing about. We normally keep it on the rails, but our harbour master (at the family cabin it's my father in law) insisted on tying it to the front cleat. It took me five min on the bow to undo the wonderful knot he had put in it. And yes there is too much sail up, but we were making pretty good time almost directly into the wind (my pateneted fender line wind indicators only $39.95 order today :P )

I'm sure it's nice video, but You Tube is asking for a password.

My buddy grew up on the east coast around the ocean and sailing, but he hasn't been on a boat under sail in quite a while, he was pretty excited.
