Looking for sailing club in SW USA

Can anyone suggest a sailing club in the Southwestern USA where my Mac 26s would be "size appropriate" ?

I am a member of a very active club in Houston that has lots of events but each time i decide to drive 500 mile to attend it is strongly suggested I have too small a boat for that event. They are always nice, polite and even offer to let me ride with them. But I really wanted the experience with my boat not as a passenger. I have no problems with the members I just don't have enough boat to run with in those circles.

So can anyone suggest a club where I would have the right size boat for the trips they make ?

We have had quite a few members in Baytown area, which, IIRC, is Houston area, if that drive isnt an issue.

Odessa is a long way from the water, kudos to your dedication .....

There is a lot of lakes and regattas in the Dallas area. You would be welcom here any time!

Tuscon Sailing Club.
They do an annual run down Sea of Cortez. A lot of boats our size.

San Diego Venture Yacht club is about 80 MacGregors. They do an annual lake Meade trip I believe in February.

I live in Hobbs NM that's about 80 miles from Odessa, I go to lake Texoma it's Abigail lake and about 440 miles from Hobbs .
