That to me looks like a hard top bimini over the companionway and not a true dodger unless they have sides and front that are snapped into place to deflect spray and rain while underway. I would rather have a regular dodger instead of giving up the main sheet traveler that I see is missing in these pics.

Didn't think of that...we have to lower our dodger to raise our mast and we carry our mast above head height in the cockpit ie our dodger can be up whilst the mast is in travelling position
My PO had an extension made for the mast crutch so that the bimini can say up while he drops the mast. He used the boat primarily for inland waterways with lots of bridges.
