Hey Leon.... you rock dude! Very nice looking machine - wow! Awesome sailing location.
Looking forward to meeting you again. 1st shout's on me (2nd's on Geoff, 3rd's on John, 4th's on Rocky).
R.
I put the 'official dates' into the thread title for reference - I know some of you are showing up earlier but in case others want to come that will help planning
Can the ringleader of all this activity confirm I got the dates right please?
So, just to be clear. The meet is Aug 18-22? And at Port Credit.
I was approached outside my club's gate by a guy who was very interested in Macs. I spent a half hour lauding their virtues and showing him my SeaSaw before pointing him here to get him to come to the Mac meet to meet all you guys & gals.
For folks like yourself that are in nearby marinas, instead of having to pay for a slip, i have suggested we just meet up on the water and sail out together from that point instead of paying for a slip at the village.
Planned meet time and location on the water is on the 19th at noonish just to the east side of the breakwall at the Port Credit Marina, which is adjacent to the Village.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions

Yeah but I'd like to be onshore with you guys, maybe do some dinner like last year, and shoot the poop about boats. Not really practical to do while underway.
I don't really mind paying for a slip. PCYC still counts as an overnighter as far as we're concerned.
John, when are you expecting to be in the Port Credit area? We're booked for Friday night but are starting off around the lake earlier, instead of crossing directly. All weather permitting of course!
Instead of group eating out every night I'm bringing the boat barbie and would respectively suggest we could do a marina pot luck (even if shopped for) with all or some of those who show up during the weekend?
