Maybe not! Look inside your boat and see if the ribs are in there. Should be right under the rear dinette seat. That's also the same place the hull carries the weight of the front half of the boat when it's planing.

The M hull is sort of flexible, so it really needs that stiffener for trailering - it's not really needed at all for water stuff - it's really for trailering.

That's only about 165 lb! Sounds awfully light for a 4000+ lb [1800+ kg] trailer.

WHAT? 165 pounds?? Yeah! Captain tkanzler is right!! 165 pounds on the back of your car?? THAT'S CRAZY!! That's less weight than having a person in the back seat!!! If you hit a big bump too hard with such a light tongue you could knock the trailer off the hitch!

I have heard that Canada is the worse - they won't let Americans into their country because of our porta-potties and now I guess I need to watch out for my tongue weight too?

Instead of moving the boat back 2 feet I think it would be better to move the axle UP one feet! (Or even better yet - add another axle in front of the one you already have - that would take the tongue weight way down too).

If it were me - I would not move 'boat' back so that those ribs are not on the V notch. (But that's just me).

I don't think the tongue law is from Canada - I think it's from Switzerland, (although they do speak French in both places I am told).

Rear wash-down station, aluminium trailer, anchor roller at bow, 6:1 vang, pressurised water system, interior color options, changes to the black stripe/windows (note the white bands near the front of the cabin), side windows appear to be slightly more angular at the aft-most point, etc.

What's the point of even having a raccoon stripe if it's not a stripe?? The stripe stops on the sides on both the top AND the bottom stripe! If your gonna do that just forget the whole stripe altogether - what's the point!?!

I can already see future customers breaking out the black spray paint to finish the raccoon stripes. It just looks unfinished without them and makes the cabin look 'boxy'.

Seriously, if people buying a Mac/Tat were so hung up on how a stripe looked, I bet they would buy another brand of boat with really nice lines - a real pretty boat (My all time favorite is the Crownshield Dark Harbour). Generally, boats with 6 feet of headroom do not have nice lines - unless they are seriously large (SS United States is looking for a buyer). Plus, how many of us can see the lines on the hull when we are sailing?

The law relates to his choice of tow vehicle, most EU small SUV large cars etc.. are restricted to 75kg ball weight by their design rules.
In North America virtually all trailer and caravan makers endorse the 10-percent rule and some go so far as to suggest the towball load should be as high as 15 percent. In the case of a 2000kg trailer that means a towball load of 200kg to 300kg.

In Europe it’s an entirely different story: the typical EU car and 4WD towball load is between 50kg and 75kg, and even heavy trailers – above 3500kg – have towball loads around 100kg.

In Australia we have largely adopted the North American model. Most trailer and caravan makers endorse the 10 percent rule, regardless of the trailer configuration and the number of axles.

Many car and 4WD makers hate the 10-percent rule, because it forces them to design heavier rear sections and stiffer rear suspensions than they need in other markets.

Some makers, like Subaru (my old tow beast), limit the permissible towball load to a set figure (90kg for most models) and insist that if a Subaru is coupled to a boat trailer or caravan with a heavier towball load the owner must fit weight-distribution bars, to pull the towball weight back down to 90kg.

The wash-down station in the photo looks very nice, however I don't see it listed. The other options are a welcome change. Especially the bow roller and pressure water. Would love to see more options like double axle trailer.
