Query Precision Sails Canada

Post by FLASH »

I am considering purchasing sails from Precision Sails in Canada. The pricing is very appealing but is it a Too Good To Be True story. Has anyone had first hand experience with this company, or know anyone who has. I have read a few, less than favourable comments on a web site forum.

Hey Flash, here's a link (if you haven't already seen it) to a discussion about the same question you asked:

Regardless, wouldn't your heavy import duties make this exceed your local costs? On the other hand they're Canadian, and maybe deserve a fair go.

I got sails from the US ...Boyle and NO import duty was charged......1200 odd dollars for 150 genoa and main in the HD 2000 cloth....the genoa alone in Australia would have been more than that
