The boat I just sold in order to get my Mac was a 77 Sunbird.. I named it Angry Bird.. I loved that name!!
Still working on our name for the Mac..

Hey! I like that name and logo too. We had a yellow AMF Sunbird when we were growing up. My Dad bought one new, reinforced the transom all the way up to the companionway, and installed a 35hp Evinrude on the back. I didn’t get to sail it as often as I wanted because I had a full-time summer job, but we did water ski behind it.

A blast to sail - it turned turtle one windy day on my sister and Dad, mast facing down river, but they righted it and managed to sail back with a bent mast. Mom was not impressed.

I love the names people give to their boats. Sunbird/angry bird. Perfect. Looks to be in pretty good shape. How are things in Texas. I'm originally from Big D. Hook 'em Horns. Fair Winds and Full Sails....Old Salt..
