Hello all
I had to remove the centreboard from the 1995 26s and found this description on sailboat owners.com a big help.

You can easily remove the centerboard...
Here is the tip I got when I broke mine. I tried it and it worked like a charm. It also allowed me to inspect the board.
"You have to remove the board (take the pin out) to do this you have to raise the boat approx 5 inches above the front cross member of the trailer. To do this, lower the front of the trailer as far as possible, block up the rear cross member of the trailer. Now crank up the front again and block that up as well. Using a bottle jack just ahead of the centerboard (there's a flat spot there) jack the boat up off the front cross member and keep adding "two by" material until you get to 5 inches. You'll probably have to do this in 2 or 3 steps unless you have a big jack. Take the jack out of the way.
Pop both plastic covers to give access to housing where the nuts are, bend a 9/16 wrench 90 degrees so you can grab the nuts and use a large screwdriver on the screws. Mark one of the angle irons holding up the pin (port or starboard) so that they go back to the same side at reassembly. The board will now slide out forward.
