looking 26M on Vancouver Island

I have been lurking on the site for a while and have looked at a few 26Ms. I have decided this is the boat I want and am hoping to get one this fall.
Before I take the plunge, I need to take my wife for a ride. We had a Catalina 30 for a few years and I know the M will be more tender.
We live in Victoria and I am hoping someone on Vancouver Island might take my wife and I for a short sail in return for a great picnic lunch and bottle of wine.

Having bought a similarly equipped 2007 I would say it's probably a fair price. It's at least 40% less than new for the same rig.

Check MYCBC.Ca ,it is a local club with activities in your area. You can see a group of us at Snug Cove on Bowen Island the first weekend of June or you can wait till July 1st weekend and see us at the Ganges Marina on SaltSpring Island. Check our website for activities and dates and a 26M boat for sale, you might get lucky.

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't aware of the BC MacGregor club.
I would be interested in the Comox boat, but have a house to sell before I can start making offers.
For now, i'll just keep learning
