I've had the factory tour guided by none other than Mike Inmon back in 2007 - - - I learned more than one thing

Umm - many of the naysayers are owners - check out the 'cracks in gelcoat' threads, 'rust on stainless steel' comments. etc etc. He only uses Polyester resin, which is the cheapest and least waterproof optionDivecoz wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNSmUOYP ... re=related

It took me two days to track down and repair leaks through the cabin roof where fittings were improperly seated - a real pain when you have to cut through the inner liner.
For all that - Roger has an proper setup, and we don't have to pay for inefficient manufacturing methods - but don't be carried away by a snazzy video. Most other big production boatshops are exactly the same.

[mod="kmclemore]Divecoz, please - you know that name-calling is something we don't do around here. I've removed the offending word.
However, Dnomyar, I must say I do share Divecoz's concern, though I will not call names. Most of the threads you've posted have been about Mac problems, as if you're trying to get a rise out of folks here. And furthermore, I have serious issues with your credibility.
In this posting from back in 2010 you say you had a Mac M:
http://www.macgregorsailors.com/forum/v ... 89#p204889
http://www.macgregorsailors.com/forum/v ... 06#p240206
And please don't try to tell me you made a mistake - nobody that owned an M accidentally says they owned an X (or vice versa)... it just doesn't happen. It's like saying 'oh, yeah, I didn't mean to say I owned a Ford - I owned a Chevy'. Nope, I'm not buying it.
Please clarify.[/mod]

Yet, in your post from today you state you had a Mac X:I dont remember that being the case when I owned my M series Mac, but can other Mac owners confirm or refute this please.

Now, either you've owned TWO different Macs, which is highly unusual, or you're not telling us the truth and you're just posting to upset folks. After owning and sailing a 26X for a few years, I envisaged the 'ultimate Mac'.

Hmmmm. It appears that [someone] was caught!
If anyone wants to view unmoderated sites, view some YouTube comments. It is nasty stuff, and generally turns people off.
