I should be able to post a color sketch in a few days...

Back in 2009, I bought a neglected 2006with the ultimate plan to eventually paint it. I had some repairs to do on the boat to make her sea-worthy, but after that, we rode the wind in late 2009. In 2010, I worked on interior modifications of the boat and this spring I started painting her. The boat’s original blue gel coat hull was really weathered and faded... So, we started off by sanding and sanding and sanding, then chemically cleaning the boat before applying a base primer of white, to which we painted the boat white! In between the white we are adding a paint scheme similar to my sketch below. Although not seen in this sketch the color will be white, black, metallic blue and metallic silver.

However the applique graphics are very interesting, and I'd love to check out the variable costs of doing this.
Hard sanding for a total paint over is definately a one way trip.
This would be a good forum subject! Send in an 'edited' picture of what you'd change the factory stock to if you had the chance.
