Does anyone know the boom measurements for the MacGregor 25? I'm having a hard time finding a boom for sale (that doesn't have to be shipped from the west coast), so I'm looking into having a new one made. I just have no clue about the dimensions.

Take this with a grain of salt.......on my Mac/Venture 25 the boom extrusion is 129 inches(not including endcaps). Hope that helps.

Mine is tear-drop shaped: 2-3/8ths X 3-inches. You could use a regular tube about 2-1/2-in diameter if you ran a loose footed sail
