John,

Do you still have an extra bowsprit available for sale? When assembled on the anchor roller, is there any interference with the furler?

Hi Terry

Well she's finished & finnaly found a carton to ship her in to you , you'll have to stuff the sprit pole with styro foam that will keep the bee's from trying to make a nest in there & hopefully make it float should you ever drop her over B.! . did not have time to shop for end caps to close off the pole ends but I'm sure you'll be happy enough to do that yourself EH !

Terry
Go with the K/H Spinnaker ask them if the seams are all stitched where the sections are I know the factory spin the seams are just glued together not good in a blow I know some guy's here had to get theirs stiched. My factory spin is still new as I use my custom made one that was made in Sidney BC but its 350 sq, ft expensive way to go. I'm thinking of getting a quote to stich the seams on my factory one !
When Beene's boat comes out of storage & back to my place in the spring I'll get some better pic's of how his boat is set up for the 3ft bowsprit OK
Adj tack line is led aft so you can fly that kite as high as you wish as seen on the vid's i took of his boat in action last Aug. , sheet lines are led to the rear aft docking cleats I have them going back to the stern seats on my boat running through ratchet blocks then to the aft winches or swivel cleats

John,
Are you sure of the glued stitching...? In an e-mail I got from Todd at BWY he says the factory spinnaker is stitched and does not know how I got the idea they are only glued. The brochure specs the factory spin at 350 sq.ft but no mention of stitch or glue. I like the color of the factory spin and am willing to purchase it if it is stitched but not if it is glued. Can you get a closer inspection of the factory blue green & white spin to verify the glue vs stitch and perhaps get beene to take a closer look. I need to know for certain. :?

Guys - KellyHansonSails just had a bad link to their customer service email - I was talking to them recently and they fixed it. Please check again.
Also, they weren't answering my calls either, and I found out that they had been to a boat show! Imagine getting to shut down your office to go to a boat show!! I want that kinda job!!
They should be back in touch shortly...try calling again.

Thank You John!
How very disappointing, I quite like the colour combo but glued seams are an accident waiting to happen. At least you have verified it absolutely so I will try KH on Monday and see how their KH version is made, it is $495.00, only $20.00 more than the factory version. Hope I can contact them because I also want the sock they have. Anyone have the sock and can advise on the setup and how you like it? 8)

Terry
The K/H radial cut Spin I think is more like my custom made drifter so you will be able sail at more angles with it more like a huge genny

It came early to Florida! Orange blossoms all over the trees (most wonderful smell each evening when you walk outside), plants blossoming, weeds springing up in the yard, birds migrating through...it started about a month earlier than usual this year.
