Galley on Mac 25

Post by arknoah »

I have to ask this. I've been looking at a Mac 25 (1984) and I'm wondering if that galley is good for anything? I see that it has connections for a fresh water supply and for a drain, but it's just a little plastic box, right? Have any of you made good use of this thing? I'm not expecting to do much cooking or washing on the boat, but wonder if the little galley might still be usable for the occasional overnight.

I have a Venture 222 and have a similar little box-like galley. I usually use this for a table or meal prep area as I usually leave the table down to creat more leisure room for my kids etc. I also have the plumbing but don't use it only because we sail in fresh water and don't need to do many dishes etc. I like it as well for the staroage underneath when you slide the door open for food etc. i can also slide it away aft and hide it underneathe the cockpit to creat even more room. Not sure if yours can do that. I would keep it!
