Easy trailer maneuvering

I have an inclined driveway and a small entrance to the backyard.The guy across the road has a bowling green lawn and i didn't think he'd appreciate landcruiser tracks across it so this is what i did



Put a mount on the bullbar so the hitch is about 6inches lower to raise the rear of the mac and its quicker to turn and no neck strain

Question... How easy or hard is a Mac X or M on a trailer to maneuver by hand? (as in swinging it around, or pulling it a few feet, both on grass and on pavement)

I used to be able to manhandle my 17' boat around the yard, is that possible with a 26' Mac? Or is a tow vehicle always required to budge it.

I haven't been able to move my 26M by hand, although with a trailer dolly on a hard surface it may be possible. Just keep in mind that the tongue weight is 250-300+ lbs and you're moving 3000+ lbs.

I've use front hitches for years, makes life a lot easier, especially on some of the bush ramps, the last time we had 'Imagine' hooked up on front while full loaded the vehicle drag link turned into a boomerang, I bent it straight on a tree and replaced it with a good one I had at home, it happened due to the hitch being too far to the left, when I have time I'm going to fit another hitch on the right side so all the weight is more or less over the steering box and sleeve the drag link to up it's load rating.
