great pics S.
looks like the girls might have this sailing thing figured out better than we do.........
maybe the fact that they wear there life vests on the boat........
and you wear yours on shore......
hmmmmmmmmm
I bought a couple of those inflatable vests with harness, they are fairly comfortable I suppose......

I actually keep my money and knife in my auto-inflatable pocket, so I do tend to wear it around island.
I do let the kids take their PFDs off and leave them in the tender on the dock.

which brand is it??....... I have the West marine ones.....and they all open with zipps or velcro down....... not the direction I need. I can drop things to poseidon all by myself thankyou. We keep a whistle, knife, and light on a lanyard to each vest. A safety pocket would be nice.

Not sure if we will make it.. May not make it to Cuttyhunk. May hit Hadleys Harbor instead.

...from DTW....
We might cruise up the Sound Tues Wednesday since the girls sail in Group A now.
I had better check my Eldridges before I shoot Woods Hole.
How far into Hadleys do you go to be clear off the current and wind?

I try to go all the way in, but if it is full, we have to anchor outside...which isn't too bad, out of the sw wind.

Why not go up to the Vinyard?
Actually, Block is my favorite island. Not over hyped and infested with celebrities and Kennedys.

Woods hole is my favorite place, but I can also infect the girls with educational stuff at MBL and pie in the sky. MV definitely touristy to the max and uber pricy.
