Not completely out of the game & humorous Naval terms

I sold Holy Jumpin Catfish about a week ago. I get along so well with the buyer that we have become friends. During our test sail we functioned quite well as a team.The boat will be out of the Newport Beach area in a mast up storage from now on. I will sail with the buyer( Chris) and my two kids frequently. I will pay for a boat detailing twice a year and do the grunt work on board. We will have to lower the mast to clear a bridge to get to the open ocean. I will sail with him and his wife during the boat's maiden voyage to Catalina Island. I will send my wife and kids there on the Catalina Express to meet up with us ashore. I will then either camp in tents on the beach or do hotels with my family depending if we go to Two Harbors or Avalon. I bought a book on how to build Polynesian style sailing canoes and am planning on building one called the Wa apa. It bolts together as three sections of 8 feet and has dual outriggers. It will take about 1 to 2 years( 200 hours) to build in my spare time (marine plywood fiberglassed over).

Here are some humerous naval terms that were either yelled at me or sarcastically given to me usually by Chief Petty Officers: " Now Becker remember: - A thousand Attaboys don't make up for one oh sh#% ."
"Becker have you ever heard of the system of seven P's ?" -"No Chief "-" Proper Prior Planning Prevents pi$$ Poor Performance."
"Becker did you just say you assumed? Do you know what assume means?- You've just made an ass out of you and me."
"Becker remember- don't be leanin when you could be cleanin." (One time when I was leaning on a mop in the barracks).
" Becker, the higher ups fu#@#d us."
