Excellent, *MUST READ* Article on Drowning...
Re: Excellent, *MUST READ* Article on Drowning...
To tell the truth, I thought your article was one of the most important things I've seen on here considering we are all on the water in our boats and see a lot of people in the water and so thought it should not be put out to pasture so quickly. I was just keeping it in the forum eye. I go to Hawaii often and my neighbor has a condo there so I can talk story about hawaii anytime.
get a room? What do you mean about a getting a room of of own own? This whole web site is about a comon interst we share? Should we all get rooms when I see another Mac sailor and want to talk to him?? I thought you were a very intellagnt person.

Another thing, Scott is a lifeguard and our disdussion is about being in the water with other people which you article is about; Identifying people in the water who are having trouble. In surfing, diving, sailing, swimming or just walking along the water and a wave grabs you, it all the same thing. Please remove your article as it does not pertain to sailing a Mac!

BK, please... lighten up. I was kidding about the 'get a room', and I think Scott knows me well enough on here to have understood that fact. Further, I would have thought that the 'wink' symbol (
)would have indicated that I was only ribbing the two of you and not indicating anything nasty.
I moved your discussion because it was not germane to the initial subject of this discussion thread. It is a usual practice when a thread goes completely off-topic we (the moderators) will split the conversation into two subject threads so that the independent discussions are easier to follow and to research at a later date. That is what I did.
