Boston Sailors???

Post by rgrummer »

Just curious if anyone in the Boston area would be willing to give a newbie looking to buy
his first Mac a ride?

I'll be in Burlington for training August 10 - 12th but will probably get there a day or two before and stay a day or so
after to check out the sights.

If it would work, Great! and if not I can understand that too.

let me know and we'll keep in touch.

For a treat you can take the water taxi into Boston Harbor and check out the boats there.

Of course, if you are Burlington, you will probably need a car and get stuck on I93N....Ill be thinking of you on the water..

I abhor chains, but Legal Seafoods (across street from Kendall in Cambdridge) is pretty darn good.

Union Oyster House - has been good but touristy and can be packed.

Other than that, my favourites are (in pseudo-random order, these are not all fish places)

Lock Ober
Davio's
Plaza 10 (Fanueil Hall)
l'Espalier (loosely translates as "HA HA - we have healthcare")

get that accomplished correctly :)

Don't forget "The Barking Crab"near the courthouse, off Atlantic Ave, for the close to the water no frills seafood experience, and it's a short walk to oogle big sailboats at Rowes Wharf and the Constitution Marina. Consider taking the shuttle to the Harbor islands, too.George's Island(Ft Warren) is a good take.

Wow, so many good ones it sounds like!!! I'm going to have to figure out how to squeeze in 4 meals a day instead of just 3 ;) lol
