I have not used the galley as of yet in my V22. I am thinking of getting it out of the garage and setting it up. Looks like it is supposed to slide back under the cockpit when not in use. But there are no rails or anything for it to slide on. Also the pump is long since rotted away so I will need to find one of them. So what I was looking for is what others have done with their galleys.

V22 Galley
Re: V22 Galley
You can get a new pump at west marine or other such places but.....
Another thing that works well and is cheap... (I like cheap) is to use one of those garden sprayers you can get at Lowes or Home Despot. They are $14 right now at my Lowes. Get a few hose clamps and some tygon tubing (also at Lowes) and the cheapest spigot/valve you can buy. Put the sprayer under your galley sink and when you want water pump it up a few times. Now you have a pressurized water system for about $30 worth of parts. If you are going to drink the water and are worried about a plastic taste (would be true for a conventional system as well) get one of the in-line water filters (like you use on your ice maker of the fridge) also at Lowes. Now you have very clean water. They also sell chlorine removing filters. Nice touch if you fill up with some sketchy water someplace... add a teaspoon of bleach and your are worry free.
This idea is also good for a handy shower (read about this one in Anni Hall's book). Get a cheap shower head and put that at the end of your hose. If you spray paint the sprayer black and set it out during the day you will have a warm shower before you go to bed.
