Does anyone have the measurements for the V224 mainsail? Thanks.

According to Wadler:

Luff = 24' 10"
Leech = 27' 0"
Foot = 11' 0"

Some of the measurements for other boats are suspect, so it might be best to check with the factory.

Let's get a discussion on this. I notice that the V24 has a higher capsize ratio than later boats. It also has 50 extra square feet of mainsail? over the later boats?

I wonder how much the extra sail adds to the extra ratio? V 24 here.

I always sail my V224 with the main reefed to the first reef. The boat feels more balanced if the center of effort is moved forward. I'm thinking of replacing my factory mainsail with something smaller. I'm a cruiser and don't need the extra canvas (or the white knuckles).

That is what I like hearing! I bought a set of V25 sails. The main is smaller and the jib larger. Thanks for the note.
