Hi,
I have two questions around hatches:
1. I want to add some additional hatches in the mac (one in the toilet, 2 in the V berth and 2 in the back). Where can I find reasonably priced hatches (US or Europe)?
2. I was really surprised to find that the "rectangular" hatch in the V berth does not have any way to be kept open. Where can I get something that works (well) for this purpose?
Regards,

Re: hatches etc
A variety of hatch support braces or springs can be found at marine supply sources. This is what West Marine has to offer.

Re: hatches etc
Hatch brace for v-berth hatch...
Considering...
Finding suitable anchor points.
Hatch best fully open to access anchor well from inside.
Semi open position catches breeze.
Ability to close from the outside.
I haven't done ours yet. Currently using a rope tied to the locking point. Open from inside, slowly release rope until fully open (gently) against top deck.
Any other thoughts
I like the idea of an aft hatch for better air circulation for the aft berth
Where to install
