With the money I saved on the musclehead sail I bought a 90 HP 2 stroke Yamaha, so speed is no longer an issue.

I have a bit of history with the VW van also having owned a 72 for 24 years and 328,000 miles, and the admiral having owned a 91.

The newer vans are considerably quicker, and suspended better.

I only had 62 hp factory rated.........and after ac and all the other weight was onboard...... freeway speeds were much easier when we had the stay alive at 55. that vehicle was not desiged for 3 hours a day of 70 mph, across the hanford desert at 110 degrees And I put in enough additional cooling and engines to prove it.

But,

for some reason, I thought you bought the Toureg?
