Boom Vang Installation

Post by bjmeunier »

Can someone shoot me the measurements on how far down the boom, and up the mast, to drill the holes for the bails for the BWY boom vang?

I have a 2001 X :macx:

Thanks in advance

The boom already has a hole in it for the proper location of the boom vang. Should be one on the mast as well.

Thanks Mike..the PO had put bolts in and I didn't pay close enough attention...This Mac still had its halyards rolled up from the factory and everything thrown in a box except the instructions, so, I'm wading through a little at a time...your dealership wouldn't happen to have X cockpit cushions lying around would it??? :)
