I do not think that the catalog on this website is a direct vendor. I think that the orders are passed through to the manufacturers for drop shipment. The Keelguard and Boomkicker are made by different companies. I have passed your question along to the catalog and website owner. He has been traveling of late and may not answer for a few days.

Hi,

The answer above is correct - shipping costs unfortunately cannot be combined. Sorry about that.

Skip the boom vang and order a ridgid vang (gahreeeerr or however it is spelled). Assuming nothing has changed, you'll spend a few more bucks but but will have a far superior piece of hardware.

Fairly excellent to see there is a Mac in China.

Is there much of a sailing culture there. Perhaps you can start a new thread to identify yourself and discuss sailing over there. I know I would find it interesting.

If this has already happened I missed it.

That's OK - no criticism, just trying to help!

As for contacting the supplier, I will drop a note to Heath, the owner of this forum, and ask if he can help with the boomkicker contact.

Images must be hosted on a public website such as PhotoBucket.
Upload Your pics to PhotoBucket.
Find the pic that you want to post.
Hover your mouse pointer over the picture that you want.
Several options will appear.
Go down to the IMG code and left click in the code box to the right.
Left click in the code box and select copy.

Now, while composing your post on this forum, right click at the place that you want the pic to appear and select paste. It will look like this:

Code: Select all

Here is a picture that I took in the San Juan Islands:

Cool, huh?
It will appear on the forum like this:

The forum software will automatically re-size the pic for easy viewing and when a member left clicks on it, the original size will be viewable. The board does not actually download, or store the pic, it just uses the code to make your browser do the work. Repeat for up to three pics/post. It is best to use the "Preview" option, to make sure that everything is OK, before you submit the post.

By the way, there are a number of Hams on this forum. I am N7ZH.

Enjoy,

Guoxi,

If you are wanting to buy these items in North America and take them back with you, try West Marine. Use the store locator to see if there is a store in the city that you are going to.
