| Yep! I removed all of them early this morning. And if you hadn't mentioned it, it would almost be like it never even happened! |

The Little John and its Admiral adapter, the Lady J are on our boat at all times. If its rough out, any of our crew can do number 1 without going below and getting sick.

It would seem that the design case is "if in case of knockdown.... what is the clean up job like....."....
There are a lot go really good, thoughful solutions going here....
I guess the likely case is to be out and have a day of "tilting a lot" in good wind.. but the thought of having a "incident" gives one a good bit of consideration...
We went the Porta Potti route.. having to add tie downs and eyestraps to the head.

I'm hoping that I have your concerns pretty much covered. The Bio-powder in the Double Doodie bags (Wag Bags have the same) turns the liquid into a jell, so there isn't/shouldn't be much if any liquid and we bought extra powder separately in case we need it.dvideohd wrote:It would seem that the design case is "if in case of knockdown.... what is the clean up job like....."....

I also have it so the snap on lid.....

.... is held down by the platform that.....

... the seat is screwed to and that.....

.... that platform is held down by the latch in the picture above and ....

..... that the seat/seat platform is also held down by the decking that the seat cushion sits on.
All of that pretty much assures that the bucket is not going to come out or the lid come off of it and the bucket itself is located top and bottom so that it can't move in any other direction.
I guess only time will tell how well this works and I sure don't hope for a knock down to really see how it works, but I feel about as confident or more so in it that the porta-pottie that was in the Mac. When this thread started if you read my reply there I wasn't so optimistic about these dry bags, but kept my mind open and after reading more decide to give them a try. I'll report back later one way or the other on how we like them and how we like or dislike the new head location and the enlarged V-berth.
