John,
Dan and Linda are back in Boston by now... We had a wonderful meal of Rabbit pie and house red! We finished it off with a variety of digestifs including an alcoholised tea.....for the girls and coffee with real liquor for the boys at the Chateau. we also went tobogganing on the boardwalk. You missed a great time! I'm sure Dan is going to be down for the first time in the summer this summer! He's buying the steaks so this would be a good time for you to join our surf and turf on the St Laurence cruise.
B
p.s. I was thinking of having my p/o go out through the head roof after looking at Jim's set up . Did you do your p/o set up yourself ?

Re: US Boat Sailing in Canada
Hm... seeing all the snow...
I guess someone could build a track assembly, mount the motor right (transmission to engage the motor to the tracks) for the back of the boat... and drop the Mac on it... make sure the centerboard is up.. mount a set of steerable skis up front... and make a pretty good go of it.....
Obviously.. this should be discussed over the proper number of Canadian Beer units.... It might take a while to work out all the details.... On a latter day, there could be another discussion as to how to mount a Ram Jet on the whole assembly... The boat, does after all, plane pretty well....

dvideohd says:
trailer up on blocks with the wheels off for the winter, and I was thinking... Fabricate a ski assembly to bolt to the wheel drums, rig a steerable ski on the trailer jack post, strap the boat to the trailer. Now you're good to go on the frozen lakes for some winter-sailing fun!!
I've got myHm... seeing all the snow...
I guess someone could build a track assembly,...
