September Sucia PNW
For all those Mac's in the Pacific Northwest, we are having our annual Sucia gathering over the Labor Day weekend Aug 30- Sept 1/08. The place is Fossil Bay on Sucia in the San Juans down at the shallow end. We generally get a dozen boats on this last holiday weekend but let's see if we can set a record. Anyone and everyone is welcome to raft up at Sucia for a great last weekend of the season. Hope to see you there.

I hope that you all had a nice time in the islands. I will be launching at Oak Harbor, later this week, heading up through La Connor and then over to the islands for a couple of weeks.

Re: September Sucia PNW
We had eight Macs rafted along with a Dufor and Hunter, 2-3 more Macs at the dock and another one on a mooring ball, plus a few previous Mac owners in their larger Beneteau & Hunter. We managed to recruit a few new members to MYCBC and had a huge pot luck dinner on shore the Saturday night. A good time was had by all and the weather started cooperating from Friday about 2:00pm all the way thru the weekend. Historically, the September Sucia weekend has always been a success and this one was no exception.
