Goodbye
Goodbye
Well I haven't been around much...lately...as we decided to sell the boat last year. We enjoyed our 97Mac, but it just took up too much time. We had her since 2001 (previous nickname was tscorbitt). I really enjoyed this site...did a great mod to include the back deck over the steering controls and the dowsar enclosure. I also got great tips such as the boomkicker and using pins to replace the bolts. Thanks all! I am now renovating a 1962 Metzendorf travel trailer and plan to enjoy camping on the shoreline instead of on water. This is a great site...and we sold our boat using the classified page.

We almost did the same after buying a "pull behind RV" (called a 'trailer in Texas
). But, we decided on keeping the Mac--its been just too much fun.
We purchased a new Cikira, duel axle, Classic Cruizer (model 18FD). Its a small tow behind, great for 2 folks, (although the mfg. claims it will sleep 6
HA. Glad we bought small, compact, and light.
