We finally launched our new M. There were plenty of spectators/fishermen at the ramp. She slid right in and started right up. We got several compliments. One guy asked "How many staterooms are in that thing?"
Here she is. Luna Azul floating for the first time in her slip.
Not too many boats in yet.
My son doing the happy dance on our first voyage out.
She's a lonely boat in the marina. It will fill up soon.
WOW That sure is a nice looking boat. Your blue hulled baby looks like a million dollars! Everytime I see a new blue Mac I start counting the days to my pick up day...May 9th...this friday

And how much in demand are the new slips/ pens. Here in Western
Australia, there is a new marina being built with 350 similar slips and ALL of them have been bought. the pressure on the availability is so great the prices are going through the roof. puggsy 06

We were able to rent a pen easily for $700/season. They had about 20 available. The population here isn't very dense and that helps. If you want to bring your boat up from Perth I'll make sure there is a space for you.
It's a great lake to boat on. This is one of 2 marinas that serve the whole lake of 30 miles long by 5 miles wide. So it's pretty quiet and there are lots of places to find solitude. We have a runabout boat that the Mac is replacing and have enjoyed boating here.
On the topic of lat/lon:
A fun family hobby that can include boating is Geocaching. Hunting for hidden treasures with handheld GPS. There are a few on the lake that we have found including one on the island that is only accessible by boat.
