26X trailer Lug bolt
26X trailer Lug bolt
I need to replace a Lug bolt on a 2002 26X trailer. Anybody know of a source for a replacement bolt?

I don't think so, Steph - I don't think they make stainless lug nuts. But then I'm also not a huge proponent of stainless, particularly when you have to marry it with non-stainless (the studs)... that combo sometimes tends to gall or seize. I'd just use plain nuts, and if I was concerned about them rusting I'd just smear some axle grease on them once they're tightened, or even spray them with cosmolene (or CRC Marine Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor).

Has nobody personally ordered replacement lug bolts and knows what part number to get from where! I have already gotten two different wrong lug bolts from Advanced Auto (splined part was not a correct match) after having them match the old lug, been told by a Napa guy he needed a part number, and ordered lug bolts from "Trailer Parts Superstore" that again had wrong diameter on the splined part.

I once sheared all my lug bolts off enroute to the Bay, and 3 major Auto Parts stores didnt have correct size replacements. Fortunately, a trailer sales & Mfg. had them, and inserted them in the hub.
I purchased an extra set, just in case (hopefully never necessary). But, I recommend having "extras" on hand.
