heres a strange one,whilst on my trip learning to sail,i asked the instructor about compass deviation,he said watch this,he put a coke can on the pedestal next to the compass and the compass deviated by 15 deg,i tried it with other soft drinks cans and empty cola cans but they had no effect,so why does coke move the compass?

Ah yes , British humor . Nothing quite beats a naked guy playing a piano, arms falling off and blood shooting in great geysers across the stage. Guys dressed up in big floppy old lady hats. Rollicking funny stuff that.

They should focus on their areas of excellence. Cooking, motor vehicle design, telecommunications (they have 2 channels all at once BBC 1 AND 2) and teaching Britney spears and Madonna how to be proper ladies.

Just kidding of course. Pass me the bangers and mash and a tasty brew.

The reason why the coke can cause the compass to fluckuate is because the negative Ions of the molecules modulate through the magnetic field of the atomic sub particles of the high fructose corn syrup.

But I could be wrong..
