Well, I think I found a solution. Slacked my jack line a bit to allow for a bit extra sail hoist. It now clears even when sheeted tight. Only 1/2" or so clearance, but it works.

looks great delvi, ive managed to find one in the UK that i like, the deal is that they send you the frame, and you adjust it to your sizing, send them the measurements and they make the cover.

Glad to hear you found a solution.

Looks good on there also.

Still can't decide which one I will get or when, but with Dowsar so close to me, I am kind of biased in their direction.

bastonjock,

Why not just order the whole unit? Blue water yacths has it for $650 US which is dirt cheap when you pay in pounds :D

Not certain if they ship to the UK, but I don't see why not, since the customer picks up the freight anyway. If you're interested, call Gail at Blue water Yachts. (206) 282-4261

Cheers,
L.

the problem with that delvi is the tax,i end up paying an extra 10% import tax and a firther 17.5% Vat,that takes it up to about $850.00 plus shipping :( so with the way the pound is going against the dollar its a bit more expensive

i have not written the possibility off yet

1 pound = $1.97

$1 = .508 pounds, or....

$650 = 330.50 pounds + 10% + 17.5% = 421 pounds

No?

the pound is a bit up and down at the moment,so its back up to $1.96,mmm i preferr the wide dodger,

and as i have familly ariving next week from Canada  who knows what presents they may bring

i am resisting the temptation to go mad on my plastic,i want a set of sails, wide dodger, ida sailor rudders, roller furlers

i could easily spend another $5000.00 on my boat 8)

Anybody knows what's going on in that Blue Water Yachts? So hard to get in contact with them! Should I bomb them with e-mails to get answer? It's just not decent! :?
