Lobster - You will have to check but I think it is from Nov until Mar and as long as you do not use any type of scuba you are fine. Spear, sling or by hand. Cotton Mop is best. The tails have to be so long, 6" I think.
This for me has been a great thread. Lots of info and insight.
SOoooo I have another Question for you who have done this.
When your not sailing from Location to location What the heck do you do with yourself? On Coz for 15 years I was busy all the time . Often doing nothing! But somehow busy none the less.
I'll bring snorkel dive and fishing gear. Might even find a way to haul a bike or rent one when I want one. Truly cant sit on the beach and drink rum all day. . . I dont care what Jimmy B says.
I figure I will build some book shelves on WW&S for a lot of new books and a few old favorites, a few technical books as well.
Waxing the boat and drinking beer would get old after 15 or 20 years
You pertty much nailed it. Moving the boat when you want to, swiming, basic cooking, cleaning ...... cruising the island several times bt foot. Then you have the other things like .....well - way to many of them take their meds and have a buzz on my 10:00 am.
Your choice and the lifestyle of cruising can create dreams of city life after a while.
Wow I was just looking at the pictures above, and saw how high up the tides move!!!!! DANG I never think about tides as we really don't have any on Cozumel or on Lake Michigan.
