Re: Replacement Hatch
I'm looking for the original hatch, not a wooden, nor Lexan, nor Plexiglass one. I know many of you have made improved custom hatches and have the original sitting in your garage. Any for sale?

Re: Replacement Hatch
Just left a phone message at boats4sail but their website says the currently only have a select few parts for sale and they're essentials like sails.

Replacement Hatch
In March, I posted here seeking a 26M replacement hatch for mine that was greatly damaged in a theft. I got a lot of great advice on building a new one but this is an insurance claim and I'm still looking for someone to sell me their original factory hatch. Those of you who built a Plexiglass replac...

Re: Looking for 26M Companionway door
So, for those of you who made replacements, do you have a factory original for sale?

Looking for 26M Companionway door
My 26M was stolen this week from the Vancouver Rowing Club. The police recovered it but there is a lot of damage to the companionway door (not the top sliding hatch) - too much to repair so I'm looking for a replacement. Tatoo has transferred the 26 mold to Bluewater but they have no idea when they ...

Forestay Length
I had a trailering mishap (don't ask) that ripped my 2005 M forestay in half. I'm getting a replacement made locally but need to know the exact length. My old one was sufficiently mangled so I can't determine from the old pieces. I called the factory and they were going to check and call me back but...

Re: top speed Honda 50Hp
Don't buy the Solas prop. It does perform much better than the 3 blade stock prop that came with my BF50 however they all make a really LOUD annoying "singing" noise between c. 1500 and 2400 rpm. It is likely to drive you crazy. Apparently, you can take it to a prop shop and have the trail...

Re: US Boat Sailing in Canada
Only residents are required to possess a Pleasure Craft Operator Card - short term visitors are exempt in much the same way that you don't need a Canadian driver's licence if you're visiting. Found this at this website: http://www.boaterexam.com/canada/faq_rules-en.aspx Q. What if I don’t live in Ca...

Can you put an x on a m trailer?
I have a chance to lend my 2005 26M trailer to a trailerless 26x owner. I know the hulls are shaped somewhat differently but enough at the key contact points to make a difference?

Re: Honda BF50 shift cable failure
I picked up a pair of Volvo replacement cables and they come highly recommended. I'm told they'll last considerably long than the originals - Red Teleflex I believe. They sure do feel smoother with the teflon lining - worth the few extra bucks considering the high stress/flex application on the Mac....

Re: Honda BF50 shift cable failure
Before posting, I searched for Honda +shift cables and Honda +cable and Honda +shift and nothing appropriate came up so I proceeded.
