Foestay Quick Release Lever

For those of you that have added one of these lever, how far up the mast did you raise the forestay tang and how long was the lever? The lever I have can adjust from 6 7/8" to 8 3/8" Any idea how high I should move the tang up? I already shortened the forestay by 4" to reduce the rake...

I just purchased a Forespar ADJ 6-12 whisker pole and need to know how high to mount the mast eye on my :macx: . I will be using it with the stock 150.

As for mixing batteries, I have had my mystery wet cell battery as my starting battery and two group 24 AGM batteries as my house battery for two years now and no problems. I bet you will probably find some newer models with some old parts installed on them. I am sure that if they run out of a new part, they will use the older part if still in stock. :o

Chip, I believe that the bow light was moved to the pulpit sometime in 1999 or 2000.
My 2001 has it on the pulpit.

Be careful when you do the mac bump with the strap loose. I stopped too hard and slightly bent my ladder forward. Of course no bottom paint helps it slide easier. :o

I don't believe there is any differance. All of the upgrades were made before 2000. The bottom paint is not a factory option. It was added after it left the factory.

I decided to cut my seat off today. What a difference. I am glad I did. Now all I have to do is finish the underside of the back.
