I removed the seat completly this added more usable seating area on the sides, I can now sit in the aft corners when sailing

I run a jib so the front tracks run the cars I then load up the cockpit tracks with the spinnaker cars and sheets after stowing the jib I swap the jib sheets over on the factory winches as I raise the spinnaker

One panel will do the job, you will need 2 of the diodes one in each of the postive cables to each battery.
