How did you go down south Ross?
Sorry we didn't see this until you had bumped into us on the ramp.

Hi guys,
The wife and I own a late model 26M that we are setting up. We've seen other Macs on the Swan and wonder if there's any chance of a meet up to collect ideas from your boat to do to our boat
.
BTW, we are harmless

Re: ETEC-70
Thank's everyone, all your opinions and observation. You have all helped me decide to stick with a ETEC-60. Going to the ETEC-75 (not 70 as I stated
) will not give me anything worth the increase in size.

Re: Best outboard and Size
A forum member has added a lot of extras to the rear of his 26M. He also mounted the motor 300mm (12") from the transom with this bracket and I'd guess that would take care of the "hitting" when the motors tilted up. Apparently it's used by conventional outboard V hull boats and impro...

Re: Best outboard and Size
Ok, it's a few years down the road from the last post on this topic and motors have developed since. Is everyone still happy with the ETEC 60 only option because I'd like to run a 75hp motor on a late 2014, 26M.
