Re: V-berth mattress pad options?
I opted to go with the foam factory. Price almost seemed to cheap so I was skeptical. I went with the 2.8 35lb density foam.I thought it might not be firm enough but is perfect for me. Now maybe I will finally sleep as well on my boat as I have on others'. Now for some new sails next winter for the ...

unused jib
I was looking st some sails that came with my boat. I bought my X 8 years ago and finally am looking at these. I have an old but like new hank on jib to give away if anyone is interested, I live in the Denver area. I had seen in magazines about donating sails, but haven't seen the ad lately. Anyone ...

Re: V-berth mattress pad options?
I'm curious about the foam factory that some of you used. Did you pick 3 or 4 inch foam to fit in the existing covers? And did you pick the 35 or the 50 pound density.

Re: Managing Furler while raising Mast = Protecting the Wind
I just put a carabiner on the furler and hook it to the life line and it follows it up or down without any bind I scratched my new windows to before I decided something needs done.

Re: mast step leak
We had beached the boat to start a fire and roast some brats. The weather moved in, went inside to wait it out. The winds were very strong, swung the boat sideways and the headsail deployed. Being how the boat doesn't sail well on land, something had to give. It broke about 10 feet up and folded. Th...

mast step leak
I was dismasted about a month ago and developed a leak there. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. Looking at it I don't know how the step is attached. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about structure strength. I have my new mast ready to go for the next time out and am a little ner...

Centerboard pivot hole
I removed my centerboard to do some repair. I had read once that the hole for the pin should be a little bigger to allow relief of stress on the pin. Anyone know if this is true? Or would it be a good idea to put a sleeve in to slow the wear down.

I recently got an ASA certification and received $100 coupons toward classes with Offshore Sailing School. If anyone can use these, contact me and I will mail them.

1996 26X wiring diagram
I've been searching the different forums and online for a wiring diagram for a 1996 26X. Has anyone made one or know where to get one?

window replacement on X
I've been looking on the forum and haven't found what I'm looking for. To remove the windows, is it just a matter of removing the screws, sealant, and pushing them out? Need to fix a leak.

Thanks Russ. I ordered the perko and I might change to led lights later also. Just reading an article in Sail today about led lights.

stern light availability
I've got a 95X and I am looking for a replacement for my stern light. I called BWY and they said they are no longer available. Thought I would ask if anyone knew of another supplier before I try to fabricate something.

Re: tacking
I had another high wind weekend. 25 to 30 mph winds. My son said before hand, it will be fun. This was the first time my wife felt ill. Another crew wasn't doing so well either. I wish I had re-read the posts to remember what to try. I hadn't thought much of the broaching possibilities, but was well...

tacking
I'm having trouble when the wind is strong and I have my main reefed and the genoa furled. I'm guessing I have about 30-40% of the genoa out. I lose so much speed during the tack, I can't finish the tack, I go into more of hove to position.. I've had the best luck doing a 270 degree turn rather than...
