Re: ETec 60hp Diagnostic Kits?
Oskar, You can get the connector you need for $4.25 here - http://www.deutschconnector.com/products/deutsch_dt_3-way_connectors.html and there are instructions on the e-tec forum on how to put the cable together. I did this 3 years ago and I also found an older version of the software that was downl...

Re: Winter in the Bahamas
Dan, sounds like a great plan, I think the :macm: may be the ideal boat for the Bahamas - just watch the weather. My only concern is - Brig Baltic with 5hp Honda towed on a sling from the mast holder for the crossing. I would definately consider deflating the dingy and storing it on deck for the cro...

Re: A Heady Proposal New 26M w/ no way out.
For just occasional use I would look at a manual whale pump with the fitting that would attach to your deck pump out and a hose to hang over the side. A lot cheaper than a macerator pump and no thru hull.

Re: ETEC Motor Steering Linkage
I have BWY setup on my
with an etec 60 and it works fine. With the motor disconected the steering is much lighter and the engine is still usable just locked in the center possition. Boat steers fine that way so long as you don't raise the rudders...

Re: jax mac2012
OK here's the link to the pictures: http://s673.photobucket.com/albums/vv92/markh1f/JMGT%202012/ Jacksonville provided a weekend of chamber of commerce weather, warm but no rain at all. This years the JMGT started out small (missing our local regulars Jim, John & Phil) and got smaller as we went...

Re: jax mac2012
Still On,
It's about an hour to Ft. George from the boat ramp. I will be stopping by the boat ramp by water on my way to Ft.George but haven't settled on a time yet. I'm thinking around 1pm but It depends on when everyone else can make it.

Re: jax mac2012
Watching Isaac closely and expect it will be out of the area before we get started on the 31st. Also keeping an eye on Joyce but that too should be well clear of Florida by then.

Re: jax mac2012
Bahama Bound, I carry a 12 & 6 for a total of 18 gallons which I feel is plenty. If we are going on the inter-coastal we would be mostly motoring and it is a total of 38 miles from Ft George to St. Augustine but there is a marina in Jacksonville beach about 15 miles from Ft. George so it is real...

Re: jax mac2012
Vizwhiz, We do all the route planning at 5 knots so you should not have any problem getting to where we are going, not saying some people won't step on it at times but your S will out sail all the X & Ms so we may need the high speed motoring to catch up with you... We had a 26S with us last yea...
