Honda OEM Fuel Tank Connector

It might be worthwhile to take a close look at the inside of the tank-side fuel connector (the connected that permanently screws in the tank) if you happen to use a Honda OEM part for this. I was only slightly alarmed to see that the rubber washer that holds back the springed metal ball valve was deteriorating to the point that small rubber particles were flaking off. These flakes of rubber would have a direct line to the motorhopefully stopped by the internal fuel filter. Its interesting that the connected on the OEM Honda tank had a different design and was not showing any deterioration at all. Does anyone know which other motor Honda has compatibility with on this part??
