we put clear hatches in ours....but that doesnt leave for much airflow...great idea.

I had considered making something with louvers for ventilation while keeping out the rain. But it would probably be more labor intensive. I really like the looks of your mod., both inside and out, and the smoked lexan still gives you some privacy. One question…………..how much “flex” does the ¼ inch lexan have? Is it rigid enough?

The 1/4 is as strong as the original which is strong in the middle but weak in the edges about 1/8" If I ever have to replace it I would go with 3/8" if avail. as my slot would allow it to fit
