I own a Macgregor 26S. Looking at the boat from behind, where the engine mounts, at either side of the transom mount there are two fiberglass molds at each corner that actually form the corner. This is just where the black rubber band finishes. When the engine housing swings, it tends to bang either side of the transom engine space. That has damaged the left (looking from behind) corner mold, which has been lost. I need a replacement and wonder if anyone knows how it could be obtained.

Transom cracks
I have a 26D and have perhaps a similar problem. In the engine well along the edge of the transome there is a fiberglas L shaped molding that is cracked. I took it off and tried to replace it with aluminum but could not find the correct fit, so I went to a plastic fab shop and had one made from white plastic. It fits perfectly.
Hope that helps.

Re: Transom cracks
same here
i'm thinking of just fiber glassing / fiber bondo over that area and do away with that "u" peace of molding.
anyone with a solution please let me know, thanks.
