The article says it's a 2005 Mac. It isn't! that interior is definitely pre 2005.

Instead of containering the boat around the world would it be better to swap boats with those in other countries? With the amount of boats out there now perhaps it could work similar to the time share concept. Just an idea.

Upon retirement, the Major (Now Major, promotable) and I will be doing bare-bones charters in different locations, while maintaining a stateside homestead. Pencils out much better this way.

As will the Boss and I. We however are leaning towards Sunsail.

The Charter ownership program takes care of a hefty portion of your payments and the # of locations around the globe that you can trade time at is amazing. When you trade time you trade on a similar yacht.

No leaning!!

So...$5K to ship the Mac to Europe (AND then $5K to ship it back) and still no shower, marine head, or big boat galley or storage and room....I just don't know. I don't see that being a huge market...but then again, it is Europe and people don't shower every day, have you ever been on the Italian Subway in August?

I’ll report back if I see any Mac’s from Palermo.
