Glad you picked-up on that. I just blindly read past it. I am very curious. There might be a lesson here.Frank C wrote:Bob,Bob B wrote:I bought a cockpit table and some misc. items from macgregorparts.com last October. It took a while to get my stuff, but I got it. That comment is just too provocative to let pass ... why, exactly, did your mast "crack in half?"
I stored my boat at a friends place in Gaylord, MI. I covered it up with a blue tarp, and tied it down to the trailer nice and tight. Best I can tell, the 40 or so inches of snow was a little too much for the mast carrier to hold up. Unfortunately I left the brace (2X4) between the mast and where the mast connects to the cabin roof, when the mast carrier gave out the mast split at the 2X4. Live and learn I guess.Frank C wrote:Bob,Bob B wrote:I bought a cockpit table and some misc. items from macgregorparts.com last October. It took a while to get my stuff, but I got it.
