Has anyone had recent experience with macgregorparts.com? Are they still in business? Do they deliver as promised?
Thanks

For the last 2 years, I've been using Power Sailing located in Burton, Ohio.
They get orders out quickly, are very knowledgeble about the Mac, and have a fairly comprehensive parts selection.

You can see their online parts list at www.powersailing.com.

I bought a cockpit table and some misc. items from macgregorparts.com last October. It took a while to get my stuff, but I got it. You may also want to talk to bill@boats4sail. He hangs out on this web site at times. I just ordered a mast from him since mine cracked in half over the winter, and he was very helpful. Bob B

I have also ordered from MacGregorparts.com. I got my order but there was a pretty good wait involved. I have since ordered from http://www.bwyachts.com and got much quicker service. They are willing to give you advice on installation and ordering and are very knowledgeable about the 26X.

Bob,
That comment is just too provocative to let pass ... why, exactly, did your mast "crack in half?"

Glad you picked-up on that. I just blindly read past it. I am very curious. There might be a lesson here.

I stored my boat at a friends place in Gaylord, MI. I covered it up with a blue tarp, and tied it down to the trailer nice and tight. Best I can tell, the 40 or so inches of snow was a little too much for the mast carrier to hold up. Unfortunately I left the brace (2X4) between the mast and where the mast connects to the cabin roof, when the mast carrier gave out the mast split at the 2X4. Live and learn I guess.
