Wow...I got promoted!

Just noticed in my last post that I went from "just enlisted" to "deckhand"...Believe it or not I got up and went into the other room to proudly tell my wife...Hmmm, she did not seem impressed. Oh well, must be a guy thing. Thanks again to all of those who outrank me. I'm already looking forward to my next promotion

Kinda hard to get excited about a promotion to "Deckhand" when you are an Admiral.

We Admirals like the Deck Hands. Without them we'd have to actually do work.
You to can be an Admiral, just get busy and get 1,000 posts.

It'll be a long time before I rise above Deck Hand. I don't have as much expertise to share as the rest of you, and I read the new posts several times a day and search the archives for anything I need to know so I dont' need to post questions very often. Now if the board gave points for number of views instead of posts....

Well, there seem to be two kinds of posters who get the big numbers...Guys like me who keep getting into trouble, and those that know a lot, and bail us out. If I live long enough I may move from the former to the latter..But don't hold your breath
