Ball pin spec - part of BWY steering disconnect kit

Hello all,
I am trying to fabricate an emergency tiller for my MacGregor 26M that attaches directly to the outboard motor. As part of the tiller setup I would like to use the same ball pin that comes with the BWY steering disconnect kit (please see the image below). I could not find just the pin in BWY online shop catalogue, so I wonder if anyone knows its spec or an online shop or resource where I could get that same ball pin from?
Here's the part I need, thanks a lot in advance.

I'm sure you could call BWY and they could help.
I remember a captain who fashioned an emergency motor tiller out of his boat pole and duct tape.

Yep, sent Todd @ BWY an email, hopefully will hear back..
And boat hook and duct tape has been my fallback plan so far, thankfully I have not had to use it

I was just about to say the same thing.
Phil, take the hint and keep some Guerrilla Duct tape on board to use with a boat pole/hook.

Cool idea! Please keep posting on this as you develop your emergency tiller.
