Looking at a few 26x/m models and someone mentioned a similar boat made in Europe I believe it was, that is 28-30 feet. Anyone know the name of the boat? He said it was like a copy but larger.
Thanks.

You're likely thinking of the Imexus 28. They also have a 34 and a 37

Interesting. However, the 28 model seems a little sparse on interior amenities in comparison to the 26 M X

I think a few people have tried to clone the 26X, 26M.
None have made a fist of it.
The Mach 28 (seems a familiar name) is a dead set 26M clone, including interior setup, the killer was the $90,000Au price tag, thats $60,000 US$
Here is a second hand one for sale at the bargain price of only $75,000Au or $50,000 US

Oh I like the permanent mast raising system. Not mess with the Mac MRS around, no pulling down the Genoa to put the pin in...
And lot of stowing room inside ...

Odin and Imexus are the same boat. Don't know why they have different names in different countries.

That MRS uses the front furler to raise the mast? I have often thought of such a thing on the Mac but it seems to me the angle is all wrong to be pulling from the top of the mast - an awful lot of force is pulling parallel with the mast when it is close to being fully lowered. How does this boat solve that problem?

Same as the Audi A3 and the Skoda Octavia are the same car, a VW A Platform, but I know which I would rather own.
Originally the Odin was designed for the German market so had better finish and fittings unfortunately they did not make a go of it and Imexus from Poland is all that is left now I believe, it was a joint venture between two old

dealers Volker and Gerda Lamprecht (Germany) and Andrjez Palarz (Poland).
Well truthfully after dieselgate I would not want to own any VW product

Hi Kadet
thanks, looks interesting.
So do they have not lines to secure the mast from bouncing port to starport?

actually we could adapt this system to the
Just install two pipes at the side of the mac but same place than orig MSR.
For storing you put tis 2 pipes (form adapted to the boat) on the deck, the hinge is at same place like MSR, but at the side of the boat.
to use you take the 2 pipes up, screw them together click in the winch or pulley blocks if your prefere, and go with the line at the same place to the mast like with org MSR.
Advantage: No hassle storage under the boat
I would love it...

These look like the baby stays. Hard to tell, though.
