Although I went with the car baby shade blinds which r perforated & at the time were black on one side & a matching liner tan on the other side , the perforated blind provides shade inside but still allows a visual view to the outside , u can still see out but they cannot see inside nice feature smaller blind for 7$ although they have now changed the colour to neutral like the blinds above
Just thought when I see a good deal I like to pass it on for some guy,s who r lookin for shades

We also went with the perforated baby shades which allow some visibility but provides much needed shade.

Hi Boat
Luv the way u mounted ur blinds on the two overhead front windows , mine were smaller binds so could not mount them like that ur boat looks good very modern fashion look with the all blinds , but I prefer the warmth & nostalgic look of the wood trim & my drapes which I designed & had custom made this pic was taken during installation the drapes were closed pegged to put the memory of the pleat into them as they had been folded for so long

I will check out these blinds for my next mod a 24"x24" opening hatch on my sliding hatch

Does anyone have trouble viewing Boat's google images besides me?
When I click on those I am prompted to log into my google account. Once I do that I just get a picture of a minus sign '-'.

My skipper sewed curtains the first year we bought the boat, but I always felt they made the boat feel smaller so left them off. We left kayaks/sups on the roof the last few years so the fronts were always covered.
The other day I noticed Home depot has 4'x8' sheets of smooth white 1/8" thick plastic. I think next time I am going to make a set that stores flat and can be popped into the frame or snapped into place. Maybe even put some big decals on them to show out though the window

Hello Highlander - (My kid is a highlander - this the the school where the highlanders go with Scotty the Bear):
And this is their bagpipe band:

Thanks and your pleated shades do look a lot better - the wood trim really goes better with the red shades I think.
I am trying to keep with that whole 70's Corvette look that Roger started with these 'racoon' boats so that's why I opted for a very spartan window and even used carpet over the wood backing instead of finish to keep with the flavor of the boat. It's definitely not everyone cup of tea, but I myself always liked the retro Roger MacGregor style. It's real ugly to some people.
