I took the grandkids to the Pittsburgh Zoo today. Who has the Mac 26 (M or X) in one to the marinas NE of the zoo, on the North side of the Allegheny River near Aspinwall?
I noticed it when I was driving East on the road between the zoo and Hwy 130.

I was out on my 19 today. I have been sailing by that 26 all summer and have never seen it move. Asked about it here but no reply.

How are the rivers around Pitts for sailing? My daughter's family is in Johnstown and we're looking for some good sailing lakes/reservoirs between Pitts and J-town.

An hour north is Moraine state park. I had a 20 ft Shark cat docked there for years but it was an all day thing to go sailing. With my Mac 19 docked 5 min away on the river I can go out for a hour or two after work.
Sailing on the river depends on wind and current, I have been rocketing along right infront of my dock not moving an inch upstream. I have a big set of wind chimes on my back porch if I can hear them and the river is under 12ft I can sail and make way against the current. There is allways the motor to run upstream and pretend to sail back.

There is a member of this board that is from Pittsburgh. He goes under the handle of “CrPlater”. That boat might be his?
